Of course there is no reason to think you could bring about a better world by, say, tickling hedge fun types and anyone else with more than five (ten? one?) million dollars in the bank. And tickling them until they agree to give up a tad of their excess would be difficult to implement for sure, with all sorts of contingent difficulties, (feather or no? etc.). But someday someone is going to shoot them, or they will keep shooting you, so its a start towards a better situation.
